Ascend International Training programs cater to children of ALL learning styles. At our centre each child is given individual attention and teaching in a small group setting. We believe each child is a unique individual who is wonderfully created, worthy to be loved and nurtured in a special way.

(A) Enrichment programs cater to children from as young as 4 years old.

(B) Ascend International Training programs employ unique methodologies to effectively SIMPLIFY or break down COMPLEX CONCEPTS and THEORIES, especially in the area of Science, into SIMPLE, UNDERSTANDABLE UNITS that children can quickly and easily grasp, assimilate and apply.

(C) At Ascend International Training, the instructors serve as mentors, care-givers and above all, friends to the children. They do not simply teach because it is a job. Instructors spend Quality Time with the children during classes. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to the children are unparalleled.

Smart Science is based on an integrated curriculum, in line with the MOE syllabus. Smart Science is transformational. It transforms each child’s unique potential into academic and life success. The Smart Science system employs proven interactive techniques such as:

- SSS (Smart State Stimuli)
- DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practice)
- SDBI (Skills and Decision Based Instruction)
- SQS (Smart Questioning System)
- DA (Dynamic Assessment)
- PRT (Positive Reinforcement Techniques)   It sets a total, balanced intellectual and emotional environment that is conducive for learning.

They are conducted using

- Practical Methods and Applications to reinforce concepts learnt in class
- Fun-filled activities that children enjoy
- Experiential settings so that children will remember what they have learnt in
an environment setting that is safe, positive and conducive for the child’s learning.

Smart Science instructors are selected following strict seletion criteria. They cover the syllabus and are well trained to ensure maximum quality for all Smart Science programs. Their passion, enthusiasm, and dedication set a positive climate for learning and exploration in the children.

8-10 Students at our centre and 18 students for school outreach.

Each lesson is 1 hour and 15 minutes long for N2 to P2 level, 1.5 hours long for P3 to P5 level and 2 hours for P6 and secondary level.

Our Term Class Schedule is divided into 4 terms. Each term is 10 weeks. Classes are conducted once a week. 

Topics covered the MOE (Singapore Ministry of Education) syllabus for P3 to O’ Level for Science and P1 to O’ Level for Math. Besides covering the syllabus, students will be taught more in depth in the subject matter.

It is advisable for the child to join in at the start of the new term for a more beneficial learning progress. Otherwise, a special arrangement may be made by contacting us.

They will be held at various locations such as our centre at United Square and Learning Bliss student care centre (for selective classes).

The term fees will be collected upfront before the start of class. Payment can be made by cash or cheque.

Classes can be replaced within the week and is subjected to availability.
